Introducing the latest poker format that’s taking the world by storm, Short Deck. This brand new variation on the classic Texas Hold’em game brings brand new strategies and excitement to the poker table.
What is Short Deck?
Short Deck is played very similarly to Texas Hold’em, except for a few key differences.
Most significantly, all cards below 6 are removed, leaving a 36-card deck. This means that an Ace can be used as high or low, making the low end of a straight, A-6-7-8-9.
Another interesting difference is that since flushes are less likely to occur, it now beats a full house in the order of hand rankings.
